2018 Seattle Innovation Summit was held last week. This event was organized by the World Affairs Council of Seattle, Mayor Durkan and former Governor Gregoire attended the opening session. Carlton Vann, Seattle's director of international business development, opened the event, and Washington State Deputy Governor Habib highly praised of Seattle's development and future plans for more than a decade.
The Summit presented a stronger sense of the Seattle region’s strengths in health innovation, global health, information technology, e-commerce, infrastructure development, aerospace, and workforce training.
More than 50 representatives from over 30 countries and regions participate in the summit, from the local Seattle region, as well as from San Francisco and Los Angeles. Members from CCCWA and local community also participated the event, took the expanded opportunities for networking.
